Pictured above is a Green Torch Coral (Euphyllia glabresens) with extremely long tentacles. Like other Euphyllids, this coral has a very distinct fleshy polyp that sits atop a hard calcium-based skeleton. It’s the ultimate blend of flowy and hard coral, and yet another one of my favorites. I love this image so much, in fact, that it serves as the background image for a lot of my gadgets.
